Feeding Projects

Our feeding projects ensure that the homeless receive nutritious meals as often as we can. We engage with local eateries and strike deals with them to cook the hundreds of meals we need. This way we are helping them financially as well as having delicious meals cooked for the homeless.

Here at 25:44 Project we believe that No child should go without at least one meal a day. With your help we could feed a lot more and more regularly.

Community Outreach

We engage with local communities to raise awareness and provide assistance to those in need effectively. In Malapascua Island we were able to provide over 200 children with bible stories and dental care packages.

Through donations and volunteer efforts, we aim to uplift lives and promote hope in our communities.

On Bantayan Island we had the honor of visiting Talisay Elementary School where we were able to provide the children with school supplies and some new sporting equipment.

There are an estimated 4.5 million homeless people in the Philippines. This figure includes children living in street situations. The Covid-19 pandemic has exacerbated the situation, leading to job losses and increased poverty.

There are many factors contributing to homelessness in the Philippines:

High levels of poverty and income inequality force many Filipinos into homelessness.

Economic instability and job losses due to factors like the pandemic or natural disasters leave many without a source of income and housing.

Typhoons and other natural disasters frequently displace families and destroy homes, contributing to homelessness.

Limited access to affordable housing options in urban areas forces many to live on the streets or in informal settlements.

Domestic violence, family conflicts, and other social issues can lead individuals and families to homelessness.

Homeless individuals are at higher risk of various health problems due to exposure to harsh conditions, lack of hygiene, and limited access to healthcare.

The streets can be dangerous, exposing homeless individuals to violence, theft, and other hazards.

Homelessness can lead to social isolation and exclusion, limiting opportunities for education, employment, and social participation

Our programs focus on building community bonds while delivering essential resources to those in need and fostering a loving environment for homeless individuals and children in the Philippines.

Projects

Here at 25:44 PROJECT we do our best to provide essential support to the homeless and the underprivileged in the Philippines through our project initiatives.

In Cebu City we were able to provide 15 families with tents so they may be protected from the elements and provide a bit of safety and privacy. We also distributed camping showers so they may be able to wash and help reduce illness from poor hygiene.
